Felicity's Easter

My Easter was dry and dusty in the beautiful Longreach so it was over before we even realised it (so busy enjoying our holiday were we that the Easter Bunny nearly forgot to arrive and Anthony & I missed our anniversary!) So I gathered up a few remanets and found Xander's Easter Basket just for this photo.

 

Back on Track

Righto ladies, shall we get this game back on track? The dates are the upload date which means todays upload should be Easter. I can email the challenge out again if you wish. Stairs (belatedly) by Felicity

It seems I've fallen behind with the photography challenge, however I found some stairs on my holiday that I thought I should share.

 The internal staircase of a Boeing 747 in the "glory days" of flight, these used to lead to the Captains cocktail lounge... Now days it leads to another section of economy or cattle class as it's better know.

(I climbed up and down a set like these on my way to England several times... Part of the exercise plan to relieve the tedium of a 13 hour flight to Japan!)

External staircase truck at the airport... You rarely see these at city airports now thanks to the corridors that connect straight to the plane, but for us country folk, this is how we get on our planes... It always says adventure to me

Have been very slack with this blog, other things taking up my time. However I see stairs for this month and know I took photos of stairs. So here they are.

Both sets of stairs old and new were taken down on the Moruya river. Those lucky people who step out their back door down to the river.

Round, Summer & Red by Felicity

Round... a decorative ball usually found in display homes and displayed (very briefly) in my home :-)

Nothing says summer to me quite like the beach... This is what's left of Rainbow Beach after all the terrible storms that have hit South East QLD, the high tide crashes on the cliffs at the moment but it's still beautiful

 

Perhaps it's a little more orange and yellow than red but we'll make allowances for taking the photo under water through glass, this is one of the beautiful displays at Underwater World Mooloolabah
